About alloy-
Alloy 904L is the super austenitic SS that is developed for average to high corrosion resistance in the ranges of process atmosphere. The combination of high nickel and chromium in addition to molybdenum and copper allows it to have very good corrosion resistance. This alloy is having nickel and molybdenum of 25% and 4.5% respectively that allows the alloy to get good chloride SSC, general corrosion, pitting resistance. This alloy is developed for withstanding the atmosphere that contains dilute sulfuric acid. It is also offering very good resistance ability to inorganic acids like hot phosphoric and organic acid. This alloy can be welded through the process of standard shop fabrication techniques.

Testing and packaging-
Before shipping of these BS 904S13 welded pipes to the buyers, these are tested for quality assurance. The tests done are like mechanical/chemical test, macro-micro test, pitting resistant test, PMI-IGC test. JIS SUS 904 pipes are carefully packed in wooden cases, in bundles and wrapped using plastic sheets for safer delivering.
