The EFW in the SS 347/347H EFW Pipes stands for Electric Fusion Welded type of pipes. The pipe division consists of JCO forming press, spiral or helical mill, inside as well as outside welding system, heat treatment, and testing facilities. It can be used in several application industries like the offshore industry, petrochemical industries, refining industries, gas industries, oil industries, etc.
The SS 347/347H EFW Pipes are divided into martensitic, austenitic and ferritic types based on the structure of the product. This type of pipes can easily undergo shock, vibration and high-temperature situations. The addition of the niobium to this Stainless Steel 347/347H EFW pipes makes it more resistant to the intergranular corrosion. It also comprises of great creep strength.
The grade 347 is majorly used for the parts that are intermittently heated and cooled to the temperature ranging from 800 deg F – 1600 deg F.
Testing of the product:-
After the manufacturing of the product is finally done, the SS 347/347H EFW Pipes go through several testing to check and ensure the quality of the final product. This is done to maintain long term relations with our clients that are organized as per the industry guidelines. Some of the tests that the product goes through are third party inspection, chemical test, positive material test, mechanical test, flattening test, flaring test, hardness test, intergranular resistance test, etc.
