Alloy 321 SS is the titanium stabilized austenitic stainless steel that is having very good general corrosion resistance. It has resistant ability to intergranular corrosion after getting exposure to the temperature in carbide precipitation ranges of 427 deg C to 816 Deg C. The alloy is resisting oxidation to temperature 816 Deg C and is having a very good stress rupture and creep-rupture properties. Also, it is possessing excellent low-temperature toughness. Alloy 321H is the high carbon content alloy that is developed for enhancing the creep resistance for the greater strength at the temperature ranging 537 Deg C.
Testing-
The testing of SS 321/321H EFW pipes at our
higher operational manufacturing plant is conducted for quality checking. Hardness
test, pitting resistance test, intergranular corrosion test, PMI test, mechanical test,
chemical test, macro-micro test, flattening-flaring test, etc.
