Silver Tubes is a prominent manufacturing House of Stainless Steel 317 Pipes / Stainless Steel 317L Pipes, which is a molybdenum-bearing low carbon content "L" grade austenitic stainless steel. Stainless steel 317 seamless pipe has greatly increased resistance to chemical attack as compared to the conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel pipe. In addition, Stainless steel 317l seamless pipes provides higher creep, tensile strength and stress-to-rupture at high temp than usual stainless steel piping. Stainless steel 317l welded pipes is a low carbon or "L" grade which provides resistance to sensitization during welding and other thermal processes. Fabrication approaches involving cold functioningin stainless steel 317 welded pipes may perhaps necessitate an intermediate annealing phase to ease work toughening and avoid cracking or tearing.
Stainless Steel 317 EFW Pipes possesses the same high strength and corrosion resistance and will produce stronger welds due to its low carbon content. Stainless steel 317l efw pipes is similar to stainless steel 316efw pipes but provides improved resistance to atmospheric corrosion, too many organic and inorganic chemical and to food and beverages. Stainless steel 317 erw pipes is non-magnetic in the annealed condition but may become slightly magnetic as a result of welding. At the completion of stainless steel 317l erw pipes fabrication, a full annealing operation should be employed to reduce internal stresses and optimize corrosion resistance. Fabrication methods in these SS 317 pipes and SS 317L pipes, like forging, that involve hot working should occur after uniform heating to 1149 Degree C – 1260 Degree C.

Just like every other product of the 300 series, Stainless Steel 317/317L Pipes too support great features and bring the best quality at a very reasonable price. This is a well-known grade of pipes that bear austenitic SS just like the 300, though they are different as they are rich in molybdenum and have a higher content of it. This grade is also denoted by the name of UNS S31703 and they are generally composed of nickel and chromium elements. Even they pose amazing strength and stay life-long if worked properly.
The SS pipes offer higher stress rupture, creep, tensile strength which can be seen mostly at hoist temperature that you notice in conventional stainless steel. These pipes are low carbon grade one that provides excellent resistance to the sensitization, which occurs during the thermal process and mostly at welding. These pipes produce enormous strength and these are also known for the corrosion resistance property that brings when utilized under the high acidic chloride media. These pipes are commonly witnessed in the pulp and paper industries.
ASTM A312, A358, ASME SA312, A258 is standard consider while manufacturing these pipes, the size varies from ½" NB to 16" NB and other customized dimensions. UNS S31700, UNS 31703 is material grade use for processing pipes.
