Forged Fittings does have very substantial contents of the high cost ingredients nickel and molybdenum.Other metals in contact with Stainless Steel UNS NO8904 Forged Fittings, particularly in a damp or acidic environment, may suffer galvanic corrosion even though the stainless metal may be unaffected.
