Silver Tubes is one of the well-established supplier and whole seller of Alloy 28 Pipes, which is recommended for temperatures exceeding 1100 Degree F, often in instances where stainless steels are subject to crack and creep. Due to embrittlement caused by precipitation of intermetallic phases, Alloy 28 Pipes should not be exposed to temperatures above 600 Degree C (1110 Degree F) for prolonged periods. Alloy 28 Seamless Pipes is acceptable to 600 Degree F (316 Degree C) for construction and 850 Degree F (455 Degree C). Alloy 28 Welded Pipes has been widely used for its strength at high temperatures and its ability to resist oxidation, carburization, and other types of high-temperature corrosion. Modification of Alloy 28 EFW Pipes was to control carbon (0.05 to 0.10 %) and grain size to optimize stress rupture properties. Alloy 28 ERW Pipes are commonly used in high temperature environments, such as industrial furnaces, chemical and nuclear vessels, and heat-treating equipment.
Alloy 28 Seamless Pipes is indistinguishable except for superior level of carbon in alloy, and the accumulation of up titanium and aluminium. Typical applications for Alloy 28 EFW Pipes include ethylene pyrolysis, hydrocarbon cracking, cracking furnaces for vinyl chloride, di-phenol and acetic acid. Alloy 28 ERW Pipes is also used for valves, fittings and other components exposed to corrosive attack from 1100 Degree F to 1800 Degree F. The additions serve to increase strength and temperature resistance of Alloy 28 Welded Pipes, along with resistance to carbonization and oxidation.
