In addition, Stainless Steel 317L Butt Weld Pipe Fittings offers higher creep, stress-to-rupture, and tensile strength at elevated temperature than conventional stainless steel tubing. Stainless Steel 317L Butt Weld Fittings is a relatively poor conductor of electricity, by means of significantly lower electrical conductivity than copper.

When nickel is added in Alloy 317 Pipe Fittings, the austenite structure of iron is stabilized.
