Grade 316H Pipe Fittings also provides higher resistance than Grade 304, particularly to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. Passivation in 316H Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings occurs only if the proportion of chromium is high enough and oxygen is present. Alloy 316H Butt Weld Fittings have good mechanical properties and manufacturing characteristics and are corrosion resistance to sea water and concentrated acids.
