Silver Tubes is one of the pioneer stockiest & exporter of Alloy Steel T12 Tubes, which is alloyed with more than eight percent of its weight being other elements beside iron and carbon, is high alloy steel. The physical properties of these Alloy Steel T12 Seamless Tubes are modified by the other elements, to give them greater hardness, durability, corrosion resistance, or toughness as compared to carbon steel. If the carbon level in Alloy Steel T12 Welded Tubes is in the medium to high range, it can be difficult to weld. If the content of carbon is dropped to a series and a number of the alloying rudiments are abridged, Alloy Steel T12 Tubes can attain a better formability and weldability while sustaining the potency that the alloy is recognized for. At boiling temperatures, Alloy Steel T12 ERW Tubes is resistant to lower acid concentrations.
AS T12 Tubes can be machined using conventional machining methods which are used for iron-based alloys. AS T12 Seamless Tubes is welded using gas-tungsten arc welding, shielded metal-arc welding, gas metal-arc welding, and submerged-arc welding methods. AS T12 Welded Tubes contains 17.5 – 20 % chromium, 8 – 11 % nickel, and less than 0.08 % carbon, 2 % manganese, 1 % silicon, 0.045 % phosphorus, and 0.03 % sulphur. The use of columbium, vanadium, and nitrogen or combinations in AS T12 ERW Tubes, within certain limitations shall be at the option of the producer.
