Stainless Steel 310H Forged Socket Weld Fittings is one of the few stainless steels that, at temperatures up to 95 Degree F (35 Degree C), provides full resistance in such environments within the entire concentration range of 0 to 100%. Stainless Steel 310H Forged Threaded Fittings is a non-stabilized low carbon high alloy austenitic stainless steel.SS 310H Forged Fittings is also resistant to stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion. SS 310H Forged Threaded Fittings is used extensively in the chemical process industry including the production of phosphate-based fertilizers. SS 310H Forged Socket Weld Fittings is non-magnetic, and offers excellent formability, toughness and weld ability.
With its highly alloyed chemistry - 25% nickel and 4.5% molybdenum, Alloy 310H Forged Fittings provides good chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance, pitting and general corrosion resistance. The addition of copper to Type 310H Forged Fittings gives it greatly improved resistance to strong reducing acids, particularly sulphuric acid. Grade 310H Forged Fittings is easily welded and processed by standard shop fabrication practices. In the hot concentrated caustic solutions, the corrosion resistance is mainly determined by the nickel content of 310H Stainless Steel Forged Fittings. With a nickel content of 25 percent, Stainless Steel UNS S30409 Forged Fittings has proven to be a good alternative to most conventional stainless steels.
