Annealing at temperatures lower than the solution heat- treating in these Inconel UNS N06600 Sheets may cause precipitation of secondary phases. Inconel UNS N06600 Plates is a kind of nickel alloy with higher chromium compared with other alloys. This high chromium content in Inconel UNS N06600 Coils gives it excellent resistance to aqueous corrosion by oxidizing acids (in particular nitric acid) and salts and to sulfidation at high temperatures. Inconel Din 2.4816 Sheets has a superior stress cracking resistance in steam generation nuclear reactors for piping, separators and weldments. The properties of Inconel Din 2.4816 Plates are useful for various applications involving nitric or nitric/hydrofluoric acid solutions.
