Wrought products of Hastelloy Sheets are supplied in the Mill Annealed (MA) condition, unless otherwise specified. The biggest fabrication of Hastelloy Plates recognized to-date is being thin sheet creased for acquaintance in a service of flue-gas desulfurization plant. Based on a field corrosion evaluation, Hastelloy Coils was selected as the preferred material of construction for the off-gas quench elbow of an industrial chlorinated organics rotary kiln incinerator. Hastelloy Alloy Sheets is proven for manufacturing pressure vessels and components for application temperatures up to 1250 Degree F / 677 Degree C.
Hastelloy Alloy Plates is a completely austenitic corrosion resistant alloy that offers excellent resistance to aqueous and high temperature corrosion. The service temperature for Hastelloy Alloy Coils should be kept below 1250 Degree F, where this solution annealing procedure has been designed to optimize the alloy's corrosion resistance and ductility. Following all hot forming operations, Hastelloy Sheets Plates should be re-annealed, to restore optimum properties. Hastelloy Plates Sheets has best corrosion resistance and durability, which is being used in flue gas desulfurization structures for the reason that of its outstanding resistance to sulphur mixtures and chloride-ions faced in most scrubbers.
